Architectural
photographing of existing buildings is limited to the preparation of
architectural plans - distributions of the premises. The sketches must be drawn
clearly and contain all the dimensions needed for further work. Where
necessary, in addition to all measures and details with text can be indicated
specific moments in a larger scale. Curves in the sketch according to their
nature, must be marked with the appropriate radius.
Apart from
the three sizes of the premises: length, width and height is necessary to
capture the location of the openings (doors, windows), where and at what
distance from near walls are the doors and the windows, what is their height
from floor to the upper end. We need also to measure at what height from the
floor and the distance from the adjacent walls is the chimney in this room. You
must know the exact locations of light switches, electrical sockets for
electrical appliances, telephone cord and other similar facilities. In the
kitchens essential for the proper arrangement is determining the position of
the pins for the sink.
When the
room is an architectural detail that must be taken into consideration when
designing the furniture and furnishings, it shall be captured by both its size
and shape. Proper sizing of the interior space is essential for the proper
furnishing of the separate premises. In internal architecture there is a need
to optimize the relationship between the volume - planning framework, the
environment and human needs that occur in the most concentrated form.
Regardless of size, shape and purpose each enclosed space must provide adequate
conditions for functioning of assigned utilitarian functions. Dimensioning of
the room should be precise. This is achieved through the rational placement of
the furniture groups and anticipating the needs.
It is very
important that we conform to the scale of the room and the furniture with which
the living area is furnished. Proper placement of the functional groups
provides the proper functioning of various processes of life - cooking,
relaxation, sleep, work, cultural activities, hygiene processes. When
furnishing a kitchen, if it was intended only for cooking, in a unilaterally
arrangement between the workplace and the opposite wall there must be at least
1000 mm. distance to ensure free movement of the housewife. In bilaterally
arrangement, the distance between the two rows of cabinets must be at least
1200 mm. Therefore, in the kitchen can operate two people, and one of them may
be seated. The distance can be 1000 mm. but then, the kitchen will have enough
space for work for one person only.
When
planning the kitchen it is important to plan available space along the seating
furniture in the dining room, so people can pass freely among the eating persons
without having to disturb them. The distance must be at least 500 mm. and only
moving the chair, it should be 200 mm. In the bedrooms arrangement of the
furniture must comply with navigation lines of the premises and to be provided
free access to doors and windows in the room. In front of the wardrobe in the
bedroom we must provide clearance of 600 mm. in order for normal use. In the
Kids Room with available beds arranged one to another, the minimum light space
between them must be 850 mm. When organizing the area for leisure and
conversation in the living room sofa and armchairs must be arranged with
200-300 mm. off the table.
If you want
to be able to open the doors of sectional cabinets and to convenient use them
you must provide at least 600 mm. free area in front of them. Between the
armchair and cupboards free area must also be 600 mm. It should be noted that
the proper placement of furniture, their interconnection and their relationship
with humans, are essential for the proper functioning of various types and
nature of activities.
