GoPro Hero 4


So we all know that HERO3+ is quite nearly the mother of all cameras – no news there, just a little reminder that GoPro still holds the top place on the list of premium camera gear despite all the innovative designs and tech solutions that keep popping out every now and again in an attempt to parry the equipment sold by the world-famous corporation. And now they will certainly have to up their efforts if they still want to stay in the game – rumor has it that the company is about to reveal their next generation of personal cameras, HERO4. According to a recent thread on Reddit accompanies by photos that seem pretty legitimate, GoPro is preparing to launch their new product with a handful of improved features, some function upgrades and revamped design. So if you’re interested in HERO4, here’s the info that has leaked so far.


According to the Reddit thread, HERO4 will be available in two different versions, the Black and Silver model. Thanks to its dual A9 ARM Core ® CortexTM-A9 processor 1GHz with FPU accelerator, HERO4 Black powerhouse action camera will reportedly be able of capturing 1440p videos at 80fps, 1080p footage at 120fps and 960p clips at 120fps, as well as 2.7K at 50fps. (Unfortunately, HERO4 seems to lack 240fps capacities but with other advanced camera upgrades, you won’t even notice the difference.) On top of these, there’s another handy option likely to become popular in no time at all, especially with the growing 4K video and display trends worldwide – according to info leaks, HERO4 will feature full-motion 4K video capture capabilities at up to 30fps, which is twice the rate found in the previous camera model (HERO3+ can capture 4K footage at 15 fps) and outputs extremely high-quality footage that can be used for a range of new applications.
Also, Black will probably sport better image quality with twice as powerful processor as the one found in HERO3+, topped by an improved audio capture with double the HERO3+ dynamic range. When shooting in photo mode, HERO4 will be able to capture 12 megapixel stills at 30 frames per second through the front ultra-wide angle glass lens, and you will be able to record your images in three different field-of-view settings, i.e. Ultra Wide, Medium and Narrow. Plus, you will also have the option to manually control the settings for both photo and video modes and adjust color, ISO limit, exposure and other options. Reportedly waterproof down to 131 feet (40 meters), HERO4 Black will also pack a bunch of other useful features, such as 13-megapixel photo sensor, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, nighttime shooting exposure settings, a “HiLight Tag” feature to mark key video moments, a QuikCapture option to power up and record footage with a one-button press, Multi-Exposure, electronic image stabilization, HDR WDR tone mapping, and an improved MCTF, as well as auto low-light capacities.


The other HERO4 model, the Silver edition, will not feature 4K video capture capabilities but it will be the first GoPro camera with a built-in touch display on the back, allowing you to control the camera and view image and video content by a simple tap and swipe of the LCD screen. Footage-wise, HERO4 Silver will record 4K videos at 15fps, 2.7K footage at 30fps, 1440p at 48fps, 1080p at 60fps, 960p at 100fps, and 720p clips at 120fps. When it comes to other specs, the Silver will match Black with 12 megapixel still capture capabilities at 30 frames per second, as well as the waterproof design, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, HiLight Tag and QuikCapture features.


As for the camera size and accessories, both HERO4 models will be approximately the same size as the HERO3+ and earlier editions for full compatibility with all GoPro mounts and other extras. The producer should reportedly offer a removable battery pack for extra juice on the go, a separate grip to keep HERO4 afloat, as well as matte black finish blackout housing for stealthy shooting, a wearable waterproof remote control and a dual battery charger to reduce the GoPro battery recharge time.

New Apple’s Spaceship HQ will be the Greenest Building on the Planet


Apple is building giant new ring-shaped campus for its headquarters in Cupertino, California. Its design and overall futuristic qualities have inspired the nickname “the Spaceship campus.” Although construction on the campus (actual name Campus 2) has barely begun, Tim Cook says new Apple ‘Spaceship’ HQ will be the greenest building on the planet.


“We’re building a new headquarters that will, I think, be the greenest building on the planet. It’ll be a center for innovation, and it’s something clearly our employees want and we want,” Cook said.
The under-construction building will be a “net-zero-facility”, which means it will produce its own energy to power its premises “using 700,000 square feet of solar panels, creating 8 megawatts of power”, according to CBS Local.


The campus will rely on natural ventilation instead of temperature control during 75 percent of the year. Apple will also be installing more than 300 electric vehicle charging stations on the campus and planting more than 7,000 trees on the grounds.


Even the glass used in the windows will be special, made in a curved form by a German company that had to double its factory capacity to finish the project, which will require 6 square kilometers of glass.


Opening of the Cupertino facility has been delayed by almost two years, and the cost has increased from an initial $3 billion to the estimated $5 billion since Steve Jobs announced it at what would be his last public appearance, according to Bloomberg Businessweek.

Moët & Chandon Imperial Ayrton Senna Edition Celebrates F1 Champions 41 Victories


Ayrton Senna champion Senna’s each 41 Formula One victories, Moët & Chandon has released a special limited edition of 41 pieces. The special edition comprise of the iconic Jeroboam bottles of Moët & Chandon Impérial champagne and has been created for a select group of 20 collectors. Each is a unique creation and feature a silver medal corresponding to one of the 41 Grand Prix victories together with a vintage label and Moët & Chandon’s famous ribbons.


Senna, who was a Moët & Chandon brand ambassador always celebrated his podium finishes by popping a bottle of their champagne. Even though not up for sale at the moment, each 3-liter bottle has a sale value of $4,390. If any of the collectors decide to part with their precious special edition, the value of the bottle is sure to increase with time.
Each bottle comes packaged in a wooden box, decorated with a plate referring to one of Ayrton Senna’s 41 victories and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Before handing over to collectors, each piece will be simultaneously displayed on exclusively designed podiums at 41 locations in Brazilian state-capitols, among specialized stores and hotels. Part of the proceeds will go to fund educational programs maintained by the Aryton Senna Institute.

Coca-Cola Light Loves Moschino


Coca-Cola has partnered with the Italian fashion house Moschino to create a limited edition three can series. The soft drink giant is no stranger to collaborating with creative minds to offer a different perspective of their much loved containers that include cans and bottles. At the beginning of the year they worked with Chantal Thomass to create a special spring edition just for France. Their latest collaboration with Moschino simply called “Coca-Cola Light Loves Moschino” was unveiled during Milan Fashion Week. Jeremy Scott designed series feature three designs that include Cow Print, Eye Chart and Hearts.


Over the years the Cow Print in black and white has been a symbolic feature for Moschino. The Pink Heart, another one of fashion house’s signature monograms to make constant appearances in brand’s collections, this year it was used in Summer 2015 collection, a real Barbie world. There is no need to explain the origin of the innovative Eye Chart design – it is just there for all to see.


Offered in 330ml cans, 500ml bottles and 1.75l bottles, the “Coca-Cola Light Loves Moschino” series will be available throughout Italy until December 31. A 1.5l bottle will replace the 1.75l bottle in Sicily. There is also a chance to win a Moschino signed t-shirt, every day until December 31, all you have to do is enter the code found under the cap of the bottle.

Will.i.am And Designer George Gorrow Debuts ill.i.Optics Eyewear Collection


These are the busy times for Will.i.am, the producer, band member of the Black Eyed Peas and entrepreneur. Well-known for his love of fashionable as well as quirky eyewear, Will.i.am last week launched a new eyewear collection – ill.i Optics. The collection comprise of sunglasses and frames for men and women. Australian designer George Gorrow has teamed up with Will.i.am in designing the collection influenced by 1980’s frame choices of hip hop pioneers and the oversized glasses worn by graffiti characters of the decade. They also made sure to incorporate designs and features from some of Will.i.am’s favorite eyewear.


Designed in LA and handmade in Italy, entire ill.i Optics collection is made combining materials acetate and metal along with high-tech flatter four-point lenses. Additional designs are scheduled for early next year release. “I see a gap in the world of eyewear and this is my installment of what I feel is missing. I want this to be an honest brand it’s about dedication and passion” Will.i.am said.


George Gorrow is well known as a co-founder of the Aussie brand Ksubi, unique vision and inventive design techniques are hallmarks of his creations for the label. Will.i.am’s decade- long friendship with Garrow is the result of him being a fan of his creations. In addition to the ill.i. Optics collection, singer is in news this week for designing a one-off Lexus NX.


Jaguar XE By Stella McCartney Dressed For Success


On September 29, if you are in Paris and see a fleet of new Jaguar XE’s roaming Parisian streets clad in unusual paint work don’t panic. Two British brands got together to create the FEEL XE advertising campaign to boost interest for the latest entry-level Jaguar XE. British automaker has invited fashion designer Stella McCartney to dress a limited number of Jaguar XEs, which the company plans to use to transport VIPs around Paris during the Paris Fashion Week. McCartney chose to wrap Jaguars with Superhero print from her 2015 Spring collection. The official presentation of Jaguar XE range along with full details, automaker will announce at the Paris Auto Show.
“Jaguar is a British brand that’s full of heritage, charm and one that I’ve admired for years so it’s a pleasure to be finally working directly with them. It was interesting to adapt my playful Superhero print for the XE, adding a feeling of empowerment to its exhilarating design – I can’t wait to see it on the streets of Paris,” said McCartney in a statement.


In a press release Jaguar said, “both Stella and Jaguar represent the best in British design and have a shared commitment to modernity, performance and innovation.” In addition to Stella McCartney, Jaguar announced British actor Idris Elba will be part of the FEEL XE project.
