Lalique For Bentley Blue Crystal Edition Most Expensive Perfume Yet From Bentley


French crystal manufacturer Lalique previously teamed up with British luxury automaker Bentley numerous times to create limited editions and not so limited editions for the company. Their latest collaboration is to create a vessel for automakers most expensive fragrance yet – the Blue Crystal Edition. In addition to Lalique, perfumer Mylène Alran who was responsible for creating the first Lalique for Bentley Crystal Edition is on board again. She created the Lalique for Bentley Blue Crystal Edition with woody and spicy compositions that include top notes of stimulating pink peppercorns and juniper berries and fresh pear. Its heart comprise of Javanese and Haitian vetiver extract, white cedar wood and patchouli, with rare papyrus, ambergris, musk, cedar wood and frankincense giving it a luxurious character.


The Lalique for Bentley Blue Crystal limited edition with a price tag of £3,500 ($5,700) for 40 cl, features Bentley’s famous “Flying B” wings mascot on its square shaped flacon. Bentley describes the flacon as “handcrafted in gleaming crystal, the dynamic of its wings epitomizes timeless beauty.” Lalique has used pigments to create sparkling blue reflections in the magnificent crystal.
Limited to just 499 bottles, Lalique for Bentley Blue Crystal Edition and will be available at Harrods from next month.
