Veuve Cliquot has over the years gained a reputation for thinking outside the champagne bottle to promote their brand. Examples include company’s collaboration with eccentric shoe designer Charlotte Olympia and the postal delivery truck themed Cliquot Mail Tour in the US. For the French champagne house promoting their brand through fashion, entertainment and sports is a tried and tested successful affair. Their latest partnership is with the China-based footwear designer Charles Philip Shanghai to introduce a limited edition capsule collection. Limited to just two items – his and her flats, the collection celebrates the 5th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Los Angeles.
Women’s flats priced $175, features Veuve Clicquot’s iconic brut yellow with the classic black tassels. Whereas, men’s flats come in a black and white herringbone pattern with a removable pocket square in Veuve Clicquot’s signature yellow hue. The men’s flats are priced at $225.
Known as one of Los Angeles’ high society events of the year since its beginning five years ago, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic is scheduled will be held on October 11 at Will Rogers State Park.
